• Gnaw Marks: Rats have strong teeth that never stop growing, which means they gnaw constantly. Finding gnaw marks on wooden structures, pipes, wires, or food packaging is a common sign of rat activity.
• Burrows in Outdoor Areas: Norway rats typically dig burrows outside near foundations, gardens, or under garbage bins. These burrows provide nesting and shelter for the rats.
